As for the graduate programs, the department offers a "Master’s program", which was introduced this year (2023-2024), as well as a "higher diploma equivalent to a master’s degree in Moderation and Balance", which has been available for the past three years. It aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Hadith, enhancing the student’s ability to analyze and understand Hadiths and evaluate their acceptance based on the critical standards of the scholars of Hadith, thereby fostering critical thinking.
The department aims to prepare students who are scientifically proficient in the sciences of the Sunnah, aware of the conspiracies and smear campaigns against the Prophetic Sunnah, and capable of responding to these suspicions on solid scientific grounds.
The department is considered one of the important pillars of the college because its specialization is related to the "second source of Islamic legislation".
It interacts with all scientific and linguistic specializations available in the college.
The department seeks to develop its staff, support the educational process, and enhance the skills of graduate students.
The department constantly strives to achieve quality standards and obtain program accreditation.
Among the most important responsibilities of the department is to build a solid intellectual and scientific system capable of confronting atheistic attacks and criticisms against the second source of Islamic legislation, the Prophetic Sunnah, which is continuously subjected to fierce campaigns by modern and other hostile intellectual currents.
The department aims to significantly and actively contribute to raising awareness of the importance of the Sunnah among students, who are the most important segment of society, away from the afflictions of extremism and radicalism.
