Department of the Qur’an and its Sciences

The Department of the Holy Qur’an and Its Sciences was established in the academic year 2017–2018, in accordance with University Order No. (3687), dated 12/09/2017, and the letter from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Directorate of Studies, Planning, and Follow-up / Department of Studies and Planning, No. (ت م3/3/5215), dated 07/09/2017.

An evening study program was launched in the department in the academic year 2019–2020, pursuant to University Order No. (5902), dated 30/10/2019, and the Ministry’s letter No. (ت م3/ت/7961), dated 22/10/2019.

Furthermore, a postgraduate (Master's) program was introduced according to University Order No. (2533), dated 04/07/2022, based on the Ministry’s letter No. (ب ت5/4080), dated 22/06/2022.
