To achieve excellence and leadership in education and research in the field of Qur’anic sciences, while emphasizing the ethics of scholars, raising societal awareness that the diversity of opinions stems from the intellectual freedom endorsed by Islam, and highlighting the linguistic and scientific miracles of the Holy Qur’an.

The department strives to provide comprehensive education in the sciences of the Holy Qur’an and exegesis, and to develop students’ intellectual and research skills to meet the needs of society.
Department Objectives:
- To prepare graduates specialized in Qur’anic sciences and exegesis in service of the country and society.
- To enhance students’ skills in alignment with their specialization by using theoretically supported teaching methods for Qur’anic sciences.
- To build strong bonds between students and the Qur’an, providing greater opportunities for learners to understand its teachings and objectives.
- To enrich students with a comprehensive understanding of Islamic jurisprudence, linguistics, and educational sciences, while offering guidance and encouraging societal engagement in pursuit of an informed and unified community grounded in encyclopedic knowledge.
- To conduct theoretical, applied, and comparative research, and to develop critical thinking skills in accordance with a comprehensive and moderate Islamic vision.
- To encourage adherence to the ethics of the Qur’an, promoting love, peace, and the rejection of all forms of extremism and violence.
