The department's vision is centered on its endeavor to be an academic landmark Locally and internationally, it is distinguished in its expression of the Islamic financial and banking sector. Providing scientific skills in the field of financial transactions And graduating capable competencies To manage the business related to Islamic banks and monitor banking transactions in them in a way that ensures their compliance with the provisions of Islamic Sharia.

Message of the Islamic Banking and Financial Transactions Department

Islam is a religion of life, construction and work, and money is the backbone of life, and one of the aspects of life that Islam gives priority to is money in terms of its collection and development, and this section is a building block in the lofty edifice of the Iraqi scientific institution. Represented by the College of Islamic Sciences, the mission of this department is evident in preparing cadres specialized in Islamic financial and banking transactions, which contribute to meeting the needs of the labor market, and work to support Islamic banking institutions, and various religious, academic, and educational institutions with highly qualified specialists in scientific fields.

Objectives of the Islamic Banking and Financial Transactions Department :

Preparing specialists to work in religious and educational institutions, in addition to various banking institutions, to keep pace with technological development and modern methods of work and education in a manner consistent with the Islamic economic approach, and to work hard to enter the recognized international banking and academic classifications .
  5. Supporting scientific and research fields In the fields of financial transactions, Islamic banking, and Islamic economics, with specialized staff to provide practical scientific consultations to raise the scientific level of academic, banking, and Islamic economics .
