Scientific Symposium

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Fallujah, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sulaiman Hamad, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jassim Abdul, the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Fallujah, in cooperation with the Office of the Prime Minister – the National Permanent Committee for Community Awareness and Guidance, held a scientific symposium entitled “Elections and Their Importance in Security and Social Stability” on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the main hall of the College of Islamic Sciences.

The symposium was presented by the distinguished lecturers:

• Asst. Prof. Dr. Shurooq Iyad Khudair
• Lect. Dr. Muhannad Shawqi Sabri
• Lect. Dr. Saddam Hassan Darbash

The symposium included three main topics:

• First Topic: The importance of elections and their role in state-building and promoting popular participation.
• Second Topic: The reflection of elections on the reality of community security.
• Third Topic: The social impact of elections in enhancing coexistence and civil peace.
