Seminar for Academic Promotion to the Rank of Professor

Under the follow-up of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jassim Abdul, chaired by Prof. Dr. Majid Saleh Ibrahim, and supervised by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulrazzaq Mahmoud, Head of the Department of Sharia, the Department of Sharia at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Fallujah held an academic promotion seminar.

During the seminar, the scientific research submitted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Zahalaf Jaza’a, a faculty member in the Department of Sharia, was discussed. The applicant seeks promotion from the rank of Assistant Professor to Professor. The seminar committee unanimously concluded that the submitted research falls within the applicant’s field of specialization and has been published in peer-reviewed journals.

The seminar was held on Sunday, 8/2/2026, in the Central Hall of the College of Islamic Sciences.
