On Monday, 2/12/2024, the Women's Empowerment Unit held an awareness lecture on (Women's Right to Own and Manage Property). The lecture explained that women have many rights, including property rights granted by domestic legislation and international agreements, in addition to highlighting that Islamic law established and preserved these rights for women hundreds of years ago, including land ownership, marriage, alimony, and inheritance. The lecture was delivered by the unit's head, Lecturer Areej Talib Kazem, in the presence of several female faculty members, staff, and students.
