Master’s thesis defense on internal influences within the family.
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Fallujah, Prof. Ahmed Suleiman Hamad, and under the supervision and follow-up of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Mohammed Jasim Abdul, the public defense of the Master’s thesis by the student (Randa Hatem Faza’) was held at noon on Wednesday الموافق 13/5/2026. The student is from the Department of the Holy Qur’an and Its Sciences – College of Islamic Sciences / University of Fallujah, for her thesis entitled:
“Internal Influences within the Family: An Objective Study from a Qur’anic Perspective”, held in the Central Hall of the College of Islamic Sciences.
The examination committee consisted of the following professors:
- Prof. Qutaiba Fawzi Jassam – Chair
- Prof. Qais Jalil Karim – Member
- Asst. Prof. Hamed Hussein Matar – Member
- Prof. Hassan Abdulaziz Mohammed – Member and Supervisor
Thesis Objectives:
This study aims to present an objective and methodological vision that ensures the internal cohesion of the family structure in light of contemporary changes. It does so by deriving and classifying internal influences within the family from the verses of the Holy Qur’an, and by proposing an integrated social and educational framework grounded in Qur’anic values, thereby strengthening positive factors and preventing negative influences.
Key Findings:
The thesis concluded with several findings, the most important of which is that the Holy Qur’an represents a comprehensive preventive approach to managing family influences. The values of tranquility, affection, and mercy constitute the fundamental pillars for the stability of the family’s internal structure.
After an extensive discussion by the examination committee, the thesis was approved with a grade of “Pass.”
